PizzaBoy Collectibles Checklist

Tick secrets and side-path finds without losing your delivery focus.

Collectibles Checklist

Every PizzaBoy level is described as a Metroidvania-style map with many secrets, collectibles, and areas to explore. That line from Steam is the reason this checklist exists. Delivering pizza to monsters for Pizza Dawg’s Pizza is the spine of the run, but the meat of 100% curiosity is off the critical path—wall-bounce ledges, recharge-gated shafts, and rooms that only open after you trust your air dash. Use this Tools page as a personal tracker. For technique and mindset, read Secrets and Collectibles; for ordering your attempts, use Exploration Priority.

PizzaBoy by Breadless releases August 14, 2026 on Steam (2238400), with a demo on Steam (3309890) and itch.io. Single-player, full controller support, Windows and Linux, English on the Steam language table. Collectible names and counts may shift between demo and launch, so mark rows with Demo / Full / Unverified as you go, and skim Demo Changelog after patches.

What counts as a collectible here

Until the full release freezes nomenclature, treat “collectible” broadly:

  • Optional pickups visible off the main delivery lane
  • Hidden rooms that require deliberate dash or recharge tech
  • Memory or identity clues tied to PizzaBoy’s lost past
  • Environmental story props that clearly reward interaction (W / Up or controller interact)
  • Any checklist item the pause map or UI later labels as optional completion

Do not confuse pizza slices stolen by monsters with collectibles. Stolen pizza is a failure state for customer satisfaction, covered in Protect Pizza Delivery and Delivery Star Tips. Collectibles should increase knowledge or completion—not decrease your pie.

Per-zone checklist template

Duplicate this block for each zone you enter:

  • Zone name: ____
  • Main delivery completed (yes / no): ____
  • Pizza integrity (full / damaged): ____
  • Optional rooms entered (count): ____
  • Pickups grabbed (count): ____
  • Interactables missed on purpose (notes): ____
  • Requires later movement upgrade or confidence? (yes / no): ____
  • Linked ending flags? (none / maybe / yes — see Ending Checklist): ____

When a zone also changes chapter outcome, cross-mark the Ending Checklist. Exploration is how truth-leaning endings happen; this page tracks objects, while endings track consequences.

Movement gates you will meet

Collectible routes lean on the same verbs as the critical path:

  • MOVE with WASD or Arrows
  • JUMP with L / Z / Space
  • DASH with K / X / Shift for wall bounce and distance
  • RECHARGE DASH with S / Down before the next commit
  • INTERACT with W / Up when a secret needs a button, not just a leap

If a pickup sits behind a bounce chain you cannot stabilize, stop forcing it. Drill Air Dash Movement, then return. Hardware doubts go to System Requirements; stubborn rooms go to Tough Sections.

Safe exploration loop

  1. Scout the delivery route without over-committing into monster clusters.
  2. Note secret silhouettes or breakaway paths without grabbing everything yet.
  3. Secure a mental “escape line” back to safe geometry.
  4. Attempt the optional path only when dash recharge is ready.
  5. Tick this checklist immediately so you do not forget which alcove you skipped.
  6. Finish or intentionally abandon the delivery goal based on your run type.

New players should not start here. Begin with Getting Started and How to Play the Demo, then graduate into optional sweeps. The Guides Hub stays the narrative home; Tools stays the clipboard.

Demo versus launch sweeps

On demo builds, aim to answer: Can I spot optional geometry? Can I reach it without feeding monsters my pizza? Can I tell which interactables matter? Full completion percentages can wait for the August 14, 2026 release. After launch day, rebuild your lists from a fresh playthrough rather than assuming demo IDs still match. Release Date and Updates are the calendar anchors.

Story-facing collectibles

PizzaBoy has lost memories of his past. VampireGirl, Pepperoni Dog, and the twenty-year pizza-to-monsters peace pitch from Pizza Dawg’s Pizza all sit in the narrative layer. Some optional finds will probably deepen those threads. When a pickup feels like lore rather than a score item, add a one-line note and continue on Story Lore, PizzaBoy, or VampireGirl. Keep the Characters Hub open if you are cataloging who appeared in which optional room.

Anti-frustration rules

  • Never tank a delivery you cared about just to tick one box—restart the zone if needed.
  • Monsters are not combat targets; route around them.
  • If two secrets share a dangerous hallway, clear the safer one first.
  • Revisit zones after your dash timing improves; Metroidvanias reward return trips.
  • Use PizzaBoy Routes Hub when you need priority tiers instead of a flat list.

Return to PizzaBoy Tools Hub for specs and endings. Pair collectibles with Multiple Endings only when you are ready for outcome talk. Site map: Wiki.

This checklist stays useful only if you update it after each session. Thirty seconds of notes beats re-exploring a cavern because you forgot which ledge already paid out. Deliver the pizza, then—when the customer can wait—fill the blanks.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Does PizzaBoy have collectibles?

Yes. Steam describes Metroidvania maps with many secrets and collectibles alongside the main pizza deliveries.

Should I collect everything before delivering?

Not on your first runs. Secure movement and pizza safety first, then sweep optionals using Exploration Priority.

Are stolen pizza slices collectibles?

No. Monster theft damages your delivery. Collectibles are optional finds, not lost toppings.

Will this list match the demo exactly after launch?

Maybe not. Mark demo versus full-game finds and re-check after the August 14, 2026 release and patches.
